Stourbridge Company of Archers

Welcome

Coming up...

Indoor shooting has now commenced at our usual venue of Waseley Hills High School, Rubery B45 9EL on Friday evenings from 7:30 - 9:30pm. All welcome - SCoA members free, non-SCoA £3.

Stourbridge Company of Archers was formed in 1956. The main discipline of the club is target archery, though some of its members also regularly participate in field, clout and roving marks. Members shoot recurve, compound and longbow.

Our home ground is at the Somers Sports and Social Club in Halesowen where outdoor practice, club and open shoots are held. Indoor shooting during the winter takes place at Waseley Hills High School in Rednal.

Beginner’s courses are held each year. For a modest fee to cover the provision of equipment and insurance, you can have a detailed, safe and, we hope, enjoyable introduction to the sport of Archery. For queries about courses and to get on our mailing list contact us at enquiries@scoa.org.uk but please read our this page first.

Experienced archers wishing to join us, either from another club, or coming back into the sport after an absence should contact us using the link above. We will probably need to arrange a shooting assessment to confirm that you know how to shoot safely.
